THE 2ND WORLD VOVINAM CHAMPIONSHIP
VIETNAM, 26TH – 31ST JULY, 2011

Re: Information of the World Vovinam Championship

Dear Sirs/Madams,

World Vovinam Federation headquarter would like to announce the official
activitiy schedule of the 2nd World Championship hosted by Vietnam Vovinam
Federation as followed:

1. The International Technical Training course:


- Time: from July 21 to July 26
- Venue: Phu Tho stadium, District 10, Ho Chi Minh city
- Participants: national coaches and referees, national federation’s Technical
Board, WVVF Technical board.
- Content: Vovinam competition rules, international referee skills, standard
Vovinam techniques.
- Cost: food and hotel expense are covered by WVVF.

2. World Vovinam Championship:

- July 26: officials, teams and guests arrive in Ho Chi Minh city - submit List of
Participants and Hotel Reservation paper to Vietnam organizing committee - check in
hotel.

- July 27:
* 8:00 : Technical Meeting
Participants: Team leader and national coach,
Final registration for the competition – Draw for schedule.
* 10:00 : International Referee Meeting
Participants: 30 referees appointed for the Championship competition
* 14:00 : Visit to Grand Master Hall (To Duong)
Participants: WVVF officials, representatives of national Vovinam federations, each
team leaders.

- July 28:
* Daily weigh-in: 7:00 pre-weigh-in and 7:30 official weigh-in
Competitions: 6 fighting categories and 3 Quyen kata performances.
* 19:00 : Opening Ceremony
* Final round (6 fighting categories) and 2 Quyen kata performances.

- July 29: Competitions: 6 fighting categories and 7 Quyen kata performances.
- July 30: Competitions: 6 fighting categories and 9 Quyen kata performances.
* 19:00 : Closing Ceremony

- Cost: As noticed in the World Championship Rule and Regulation, WVVF and
Vietnam Organizing Committee will cover the expense of food and hotel during the
Competition days (from July 27 to July 30) for 10 members of each national team (1 head
delegate, 1 coach and 8 athletes).

Other members of delegation or any national team arrive before July 26 will pay
extra fee for the Organizing Committee. In this case, you need to send your request of hotel
reservation. If any team need help from WVVF and Organizers, we may recommend you to
other hotels and yourself will be in charge of the expense.

3. World Federation Senior Meeting

- Time: 9:00 am, July 28
- Venue: Rex hotel, District 1, HCMC
- Participants: WVVF Executive Committee, leaders of national Vovinam
federations.

- WVVF VIP officials: Rex hotel (141 Nguyen Hue Blvd., District 1)
- Team leaders/ Head delegates: Liberty hotel (187 Pham Ngu Lao St., District 1)
- Coaches/Referees/Athletes: Thanh Binh hotel (15 Ly Thuong Kiet St., Tan Binh
Dist.)
We kindly request your consideration and reply to us soon to confirm your
participation in the aboved activities.
For other countries who have not submitted your final entry and travel information,
please urge to do this so that the organizing committee can prepare logistic for you.
